TORONTO —; Two people have been charged with human trafficking and numerous other offences after a seven-month investigation between police in London, Ont.聽and聽the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Center of Canada.
London police launched an investigation into “Fantasy World Escorts” earlier this year and uncovered evidence of human trafficking and prostitution.
On Saturday, police and RCMP officers executed nine search warrants that led to the seizure of聽more than $100,000 in cash, two vehicles, pepper spray and a conducted energy weapon.

Police said two victims of human trafficking were also identified and charges have been laid against two suspects.
Hamad Anwar, 26, and Tiffany Harvey, 24, both of London, have been charged with possessing proceeds of crime exceeding $5,000, financial/material benefit trafficking a person over 18, three counts of material benefit from sexual services, three counts of advertising another person’s sexual services, two counts of procuring/exercising control and two counts of trafficking in persons by recruiting.
